#FreebieFriday Free #audiobooks: Dying for a Living #Audible

I needed a breather between giveaways!

But I'm back!

This time, I have FIVE free audiobooks to give away because Audible gave me all these fancy codes for Dying for a Living. For those of you who don't know Jesse Sullivan's story, it starts like this:

On the morning before her 67th death, it is business as usual for Jesse Sullivan: meet with the mortician, counsel soon-to-be-dead clients, and have coffee while reading the latest regeneration theory. Jesse dies for a living, literally. As a Necronite, she is one of the population’s rare 2% who can serve as a death replacement agent, dying so others don’t have to. Although each death is different, the result is the same: a life is saved, and Jesse resurrects days later with sore muscles, new scars, and another hole in her memory.

But when Jesse is murdered and becomes the sole suspect in a federal investigation, more than her freedom and sanity are at stake. She must catch the killer herself—or die trying.

If you want to enter to win a free audiobook version of Dying for a Living, and hear Jesse's story come to life by the fabulous narrator Hollie Jackson, enter the giveaway below.

And more good news, the sequel, Dying by the Hour should be on audiobook by December! :)

You know what that means? Holiday giveaways! :)

  2. I like all three and for several reasons. I am starting to try audiobooks once in a while because sometimes they really help the characters' personalities pop, especially if there are multiple narrators. It really helps enhance the experience.

I like paperbacks because they feel good and they're beautiful. And, if they're signed, they're a precious treasure; they make me feel connected with the author. BUT I almost always read ebooks. So, yeah, I often double-purchase, so I can get the paperback for my collection but read on my Kindle since it's so much handier. Plus I don't want to mess up my pretty print copies. :) Thanks! :)

  3. I prefer ebooks because they are more accessible, they fit in my pocket. I really prefer hardcover books over all. They look nicer on the bookshelf.

  5. It's a toss up for me. I read, a lot. Most of my books are on my Kindle, how I managed before it I will never know but I don't think anything beats a good paperback. Hardbacks are okay but I prefer a paperback if I am not using my kindle. Your books are the next ones on my list and I do think an audio book for while I am at work would be cool. Kill 2 birds with one tape so to speak. Thank you for the opportunity!!

  11. Oh, boy. I love the accessibility and affordability of ebooks. I love that I can download them from the library. I love having a small library of books at my fingertips, especially on vacation. (My crowded suitcase also loves this). But, when there is a book I especially adore, I have to own it in print. That makes it feel more official to me. (Call me a traditionalist, or whatever.) Lately, I've been getting more and more into audiobooks. I love multitasking as I clean my apartment or take long car drives. And I've found that the right reader can make a book even more enjoyable for me.
