September TBR #amreading #fridayreads

So many of my fans have asked me what I've read, or what I liked to read. So here is my answer! I plan to tackle these six in September:

1. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
You would think as a person with TWO master's degrees in English and writing that I would have read this classic by now, but alas, I haven't. And yet two authors/books I read recently both credit this book (Bag of Bones by Stephen King) and Jane, Unlimited by Kristen Cashore. Because I loved both of these books--and because I've never met a gothic novel I didn't love, I'm circling back around to for this.

2. Are We Smart Enough to Know How Smart Animals Are? by  Frans de Waal
I like science-y nonfiction and have been interested in this one for a long time. Looking to learn awesome new stuff. #ScienceRules!

I know, I know. I can hear the screams from here. I should have read this along time ago, but it just now came up on my radar okay? Yes, I am prepared to fall in love with Jamie. Just give me a minute...

What can I say? I love poetry and I love this cover.

5. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
I loved her ACOTAR series, so I'm excited to give this one a try! Feyre and Rhysand forever!

What can I say? I'm in a good mystery sort of mood...
